From dialogue to action: concrete sustainable solutions for 2026 at the Green Your Future Conference. The Green Your Future Conference has reached its third edition and proposes concrete, actionable solutions for 2026, proving that change is possible when dialogue turns into action. During the event, the study “The Ethical Consumer in Romania”, conducted by MKOR, will be presented, highlighting a sharp decline in sustainable behaviors. Only 32% of Romanians can still be classified as ethical consumers in 2025, a decrease of 11 percentage points compared to 2024. The higher price of sustainable products remains the main barrier, cited by 58% of respondents, while interest in eco-labeled products has dropped to 29%.
The 3rd edition of Green Your Future will take place on January 30, 2026, in a private setting at Unda, and is organized by Green PR Global. The conference will bring together business leaders, representatives of public authorities, scientists, activists, members of civil society, and students, with the goal of identifying and implementing sustainable solutions that can be integrated both into daily life and the business environment. The event will be moderated by Teodora Tompea, and the topics addressed will include education and awareness in sustainability, technological innovations, sustainability in business, the energy transition, and how companies can genuinely respond to environmental needs.
A key focus of the 2026 edition is the role of energy in shaping our decisions, from the energy we consume to how it influences the economy, communities, and quality of life. Green Your Future highlights the idea that energy, in all its forms, is a force that governs our present and future, and that responsible choices in this field can accelerate the transition toward a balanced and resilient society.
“Sustainability is the foundation upon which we must build the future. Although we are seeing a decline in engagement, I strongly believe that concrete solutions, education, and collaboration can change this direction. Green Your Future is the place where we turn aspirations into reality and build bridges between generations, industries, and communities,” said Mădălina Sandu, Founder & CEO of Green PR Global.
Recent data show that event sustainability can have a direct and measurable impact on reducing the carbon footprint. According to Carbon Tool, the use of public transportation or electric vehicles can reduce emissions by approximately 25%, eliminating printed materials and using digital alternatives can reduce emissions associated with promotional materials by up to 60%, and efficient resource planning demonstrates that well-organized events can have a significantly lower carbon impact.
As a result of previous editions of the conference, 100 kilometers of bicycle lanes have been initiated in Bucharest, serving as an example of tangible impact generated through dialogue and collaboration.
The first edition of the conference provided over 100 guests with a sustainable action guide, including simple recommendations such as reducing food waste, eliminating single-use products, and taking responsibility for the environment.
The second edition brought together over 250 guests and further advanced the dialogue.
The third edition of Green Your Future aims to continue these initiatives, adapting them to current economic, social, and energy realities.
Green Your Future 2026 aims to transform sustainability challenges into concrete solutions for a greener, fairer, and more responsible future.
